What is a DIA reusable pad?
A sanitary pad made from cloth that a person washes after each use to re-use again and again.
How does a DIA reusable pad work?
Same as disposable pads, you just don’t throw them away after one use. DIA reusable pads are fastened with press studs at the bottom of your underwear.
Why make the switch to DIA reusable pads?

What are DIA reusable sanitary pads made from?
The DIA reusable pad is made up of three layers of biodegradable material. A breathable bamboo knit top layer with highly absorbent bamboo and cotton core layers. The bottom is a leak-proof and breathable terry cloth.
How do I find the right fit/size?
Most important: invest in WELL FITTED panties, no boy leg styles. School sponsor packs: only one size available. Retail packs: Small, Medium, Large size available.
How many DIA reusable pads do I need?
Depending on your flow, we recommend 6-9 pads to start with.
Do DIA reusable pads leak?
As per any other menstrual product, depending on your flow strength and time between replacing the product will determine the probability of leakage. Bamboo can absorb 40% more fluid than cotton. In addition, the fast-wicking property of bamboo helps to keep you dry and comfortable.
How long do DIA reusable pads last?
DIA pads can last between two-three years, depending on maintenance and care taken with your pad.
Can I save money with DIA reusable pads?
Your cost over a long period of time (2-3 years) is substantial. You are also saving money on the environmental impact of your community.
How should I care for DIA reusable pads?
Cold hand wash or machine wash DIA pads (30ºC) as blood sets at high temperatures. We recommend you rinse the soiled pad in COLD water as soon as possible. Rub GENTLY with a mild laundry bar soap (no harsh chemicals, bleach or softener), and ideally soak overnight or at least one hour in COLD water before the final wash. You can add distilled white vinegar to the rinse water to sterilise and soften the fabric. Reshape and line dry but do not store damp. Do not tumble dry, and do not iron.
Can I put my DIA reusable pads in the dryer?
No, this will distort the shape of the pad and will shorten the longevity and efficacy of your pad.
Will DIA reusable pads feel different from my regular pads?
DIA Reusable pads are superior to disposable pads. It is made from Bamboo which is Hypoallergenic. There are no pesticides used in the growth and harvesting of Bamboo. This means it’s naturally antibacterial and anti-microbial which limits the possibilities of an allergic response. DIA reusable pads use a Bamboo terry towel waterproof with breathable thermoplastic poly urethane (TPU) membrane that provides a complete protective barrier against spills and stains. Two key features of our waterproof bamboo are that it is 1. Thermo-regulating: it stays comfortable whatever the weather. 2. Non-toxic: The laminate process contains NO solvents or formaldehyde which makes our pad safe and ensures there are no carcinogenic properties in our product.
What happens when I need to change the pad?
DIA Premium pads are specially designed with a pocket on the back of pad, to discreetly fold soiled pad into the pocket and store in a leak-proof bag until it can be laundered.
What do I do with my used pad if I I’m not home to rinse it?
DIA pads are specially designed with a pocket on the back of pad, to discreetly fold soiled pad into the pocket and store in our leak-proof bag until it can be laundered. Once you are able to clean the pad, first soak it in cold water for about 10 minutes, then you clean as per instructions.
Are DIA reusable pads available in other colours?
Due to the chemicals used during dying processes, we only use the natural fabric to avoid chemicals as far as possible. DIA reusable pads use natural bamboo knit against your skin.

What’s a good age to start using DIA reusable pads?
You can use DIA reusable pads from the first time you have your period (anything from 9 years and up).
Do DIA reusable pads smell after a while?
If laundered correctly and not stored damp, then your pads will not smell.
Do DIA reusable pads work for heavy periods?
Bamboo is the second highest absorbent natural fibre available; it can absorb 40% more fluid than cotton. If your flow is heavy, you will replace your pads more frequently. We have had clients with a heavy flow who use a menstrual cup in conjunction with a DIA menstrual cup support pad to mitigate the chance of leakage.
How often do you need to change my DIA reusable pads?
Depending on your flow strength, activity and personal choice, three to six hours.
Do I need to wear DIA reusable pads with other feminine hygiene products?
You can, but Bamboo is the second highest absorbent natural fibre available, depending on your personal preference, you can use other feminine hygiene products of your choice in conjunction with DIA pad.
Can I wear DIA reusable pads if I’m prone to frequent yeast infections?
